The Ministry of Health Zanzibar has received a vehicle from the construction company CRJE worth more than 70 million, which will be used for the monitoring of new District and Regional Hospital projects in the country.
Receiving the car, Deputy Minister of Health Zanzibar Hassan Khamis Hafidh said that the car is in accordance with the Agreement to complete the construction of the hospitals they were given to build which are Chumbuni, Mbuzini and Jitimai Hospital.
He said that the car has been handed over to the Ministry of Health in accordance with the Agreement which states that once you have finished building the Hospitals, you hand over the car for the monitoring of the buildings while insisting that they will continue to look at the Hospitals for defects that will appear for a period of one year and the company will be able to resolve them.
He praised the CRJE Company for completing the Hospitals on time and building quality buildings and asked the other Company to follow the contracts for the construction of the hospitals and asked the technical unit that is given the vehicle to use the vehicle properly.
On his part, the Director General of the Ministry of Health, Zanzibar, Dr. Amour Suleiman Mohamed, said that the CRJE Company has been given a contract to build three District Hospitals that have been completed on time and have already been handed over to the Ministry of Health and started providing services to the people.
He has informed that the Hospitals are still under the supervision of the CRJE Company for a period of one year to check the defects that will appear and provide them with solutions in accordance with the Agreement and they are among the companies that were able to achieve their agreement with great efficiency.
And the representative from CRJE Company Shi Yan said that they have made every effort to see that they finish the construction on time and asked the Government to trust them more in implementing various projects in this country.
